Established in 2014 in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Phoenix Energy Services specializes in delivering reliable electrical, instrumentation, automation, construction and maintenance services across Western Canada. For companies seeking the industry standard in workmanship, safety, and professionalism, we provide proven expertise delivered by the best trained tradespeople to successfully tackle the industry's most complex projects.

One of our greatest assets is our people. While other organizations employ tradespeople as tools to provide a means to an end, we care about our team and invest in training, encourage knowledge sharing, and work to create a culture of continuous development. We believe that who does the work affects the quality of work, and by training the industry's best tradespeople, we can provide the industry's best construction, maintenance, and automation services.

Currently, Phoenix is looking for Journeyman and apprentice electricians looking to advance their skillsets and join a great team. We have very competitive rates and health and dental plan starts after 3 months of employment. We are after long term employees and contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Currently indentured into the electrical trade
  • If a Journeyman, a ticket must be supplied upon hire
  • Must have valid First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform
  • CSTS, PST and or eGSO
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate leadership
  • Oil & Gas industry and asset
  • Must be local to Grande Prairie or willing to relocate

  • Commercial experience is required

Startup, commissioning, loop tuning, instrumentation field experience, and network communication experience considered to be great assets. Qualifications:

  • Experience with any or all of the following types of PLC's: Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Automation Direct, Siemens
  • Experience with any or all of the following types HMI's: Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Proface, Redlion, Wonderware
  • Experience with any or all of the following SCADA packages: Allen Bradley, FtviewSE, Ignition, Ifix, FactoryLink, ClearSCADA, PCvue, VTScada
  • Experience with any or all of the following types of RTU: ROC (FST or DS800), Scadapack (Telepace or Isagraf), Bristol Babcock
  • Experience with any or all of the following types of compressor panels: Exacta, Remvue, Remlogix, Guardian
  • Must have valid First Aid, H2S, eGSO.
  • Must have own laptop capable of running virtual machines
  • Must have clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate leadership
  • Must have experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Must be local to Grande Prairie area or willing to relocate
